COVID19 UPDATE 

Campground Open May 1st 2021

The wellbeing and safety of our customers, staff and community are important us.  

Please be aware out of province travel restrictions are in place until June 30th 2021.  We want to welcome you as soon as we can. With the current restrictions, we are open for customers who reside within BC or must travel for essential reasons.

Please ensure you adhere to current travel restrictions and PHO guidance.

 

Please do not travel if you are sick, experiencing symptoms or have been around someone with COVID19 in the past 14 days; or if you have recently returned from travel outside of Canada. 

In light of COVID19 our campground is operating a little differently:-

Campground Occupancy - will be limited to further support safe distancing and help ease usage of the facilities. 

Office - The office will be operating with reduced hours to limit where possible staff customer interactions.  The office occupancy is now also limited to a maximum of 2 customers at a time to allow for safe distancing.  Please do not enter the office if customers are already present.

 

Hand sanitizer has been placed at the entrance to the office; please practice diligent hand hygiene.  Please sanitize hands prior to entering the office and after leaving.

Contactless Registration - is possible if requested ahead of arrival; this information will be communicated in a pre-arrival email. 

Camper Code of Conduct and Waiver – following sector advice we have two new forms along with our customer registration form and Campground policy (see Terms of Service) that will need to be carefully read and agreed to.   Click here to view the Camper Code of Conduct and Waiver.  

Increased Cleaning & Sanitizing - of common surfaces to include the office area, POS terminal, garbage points, site power pedestal, water faucet & sewage cap.  

Tenters –  Welcome - please call ahead to check availability.

 

Walk ins / Same Day Arrivals – Please call ahead to check availability.  

 

Cancellations – If you decide to cancel, please help us by communicating this as early as possible so that we can plan our business accordingly.  Domestic (Canadian resident) cancellations - If cancellation is made in advance due to COVID19 and associated travel restrictions, there is no cancellation penalty.  Outside of this, our standard cancellation terms will apply.  International (non resident) cancellations - International travel is very uncertain at this time; as such our standard cancellation terms apply.

 

Washhouse (restrooms, laundry & camp kitchen) –  Open to registered customers staying with us.  We encourage those customers with self contained RVs to please use their own bathrooms when possible.  Please follow the notices posted; Masks are required.  Please sanitize hands prior to entering and after leaving.

Playground –   Open.  Please use with caution, the equipment is not sanitized.  Please follow the notices posted at the playground.

Campground Entrances – will remain open to allow for the free movement of our guests.  Access is for reserved and registered guests only. 

 

Firewood / Ice -  Available for sale in the office.  Please note our reduced hours.

  

Visitors: We strongly discourage visitors at this time.  Please keep your socializing safe by limiting visitors to your campsite.

Please practice patience, kindness and consideration as we all navigate this new way of camping.

The on-going situation with Covid19 and associated best practice is ever changing and fluid.  We will modify and update our approach and practices as and when appropriate / directed to do so by the relevant authorities.
